KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC BEING CONSIDERED FOR NEW PROJECT
It’s was recently announced by Lucasfilm big wig, Kathleen Kennedy, that the production company is considering to develop a new film related to BioWare’s classic role-playing game, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. When asked at the recent Star Wars Celebration, she responded in the typical way ─ neither confirming, nor denying when or even if it will happen. But in my opinionated opinion, I don’t think they liked the taste that was left in their mouths when it was decided that they would be releasing two movies a year, and with the ‘Mandalorian’ being announced, it doesn’t look like they’ll be cementing the details anytime soon, unfortunately. Could this be something that the big wigs put out on the Disney streaming service that’s coming soon? They did cancel all the Marvel series on Netflix and what not.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (or just Knights of the Old Republic─ or if you’re really cool, you use its acronym, KOTOR ─ needless to say, I’m the coolest!) is a role-playing video game series set in the Star Wars universe. It was developed by BioWare and published by none other than Emperor Palpatine- I mean LucasArts…. It originally made its debut in 2003 for the O.G. Xbox and Microsoft Windows, then it was ported to Mac and Android, and due to the Xbox 360, and Xbox One’s respective backwards compatibility, it’s still able to be consumed by the public in mass quantities.
The story takes place almost 4,000 years before the formation of the Galactic Empire, where a powerful Sith Lord, Darth Malak, has unleashed a Sith armada against the Republic. You play as a Jedi with amnesia and explore different planets in the galaxy in order to defeat Malak. If you were covered in acne and know who Gary Gygax is, then I’m willing to bet that you’ve played some Dungeons and Dragons, which happens to be like thisgame (it’s ok…. you can admit it to me…. none of the cool kids from school are around to mock your nerdish tomfoolery). This Star Wars game is immersive and fun as Hell!! If you’ve never played this game, (or its sequel, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 or KOTOR 2) you’re really missing out! But thankfully you have options to play it still. In fact, I bought it in the Google PlayStore for a whopping ten bucks ‘Merican!
I think if they made it into a big budget movie and they could cast anyone, I think the following actresses and actors would fit the bill:

These are my pics for the characters. It may never happen, or if it does make it, it will most likely get a much different casting. These choices are just off the top of my head. If you have any better ideas please leave a comment below!
