Now that we’ve had some time to mentally process Game of Thrones and actually breathe from experiencing this roller coaster ride of a show, let’s take a moment to analyze what the hell we just watched.
**SPOILER ALERT** DO NOT PROCEED IF YOU HAVEN’T WATCHED SEASON 7. YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!
Game of Thrones came in with a BANG this season. No stone was left unturned and a lot of our burning questions were finally answered. Granted, there is still A LOT we don’t know and I expect Season 8 to be jaw-dropping good with an ending we won’t see coming — I hope.
Before the season started, I had a number of predictions that I — 100% — thought would occur (well…actually…maybe it was more like 85%, if I come to think of it). I based most of my predictions off the books and hoped the directors would not forsake George R. R. Martin’s artistic genius in Season 7. Boy, was I wrong.

It’s war, bitches. Dany is not play’in games! Let’s go #TeamTargaryen! Dragons are ’bout to murk er’body in the Seven Kingdoms. Cersei Lannister better watch dat ass. Sis is coming!
As always, HBO doesn’t reveal too much about the premiering season. This is what we know so far from the trailer [SPOILER]:
- Sansa Stark is well and alive in Winterfell with Jon Snow — for the time being.
- Jon Snow lives to fight another day, hopefully as King in the North.
- Cersei is alive, she’s queen, she’s alone and sitting on the Iron Throne (ugh).
- Dany is plotting an attack with all 3 dragons (yes, honey) and her new Hand, Tyrion.
- Arya is alive and well on horseback with Needle.
- Littlefinger is still scheming.
- Theon’s still around.
- So is Brionne and Podrick.
- ANNND…the Hound (why isn’t he dead yet?!)
- Winter is here and white walkers are waiting.
- Bran has a wheelchair and is flying with ravens???
- War, war and more war.
- So, I’m just going to go right into it. STOP READING IF YOU’RE NOT CAUGHT UP!!!

Sooo, it’s that time of the year where S.A.D has set in for most of us on the east coast, and in 2016 we’re finding it very hard to cope. Not only is it cold out, but it also gets dark at 4pm, holiday season is being forced down our throats (in the nauseating form of pumpkin spice and peppermint mocha), ANNND we’re still dealing with the results of a very emotional election season. I. AM. STRESSED. All I want to do these days is snuggle up on a couch somewhere (most likely as Bae’s inner spoon) and sip a hot, chocolate, possibly alcoholic drink. If you’re anything like me, you’re thinking “How the hell did we get here???” To be honest, I’m more than ready to be done and over with 2016. Worst. Year. Ever. And it’s not even frick’in over yet.
Ugh. Slowly counting down to when I give the realest “Cheers” of my life on New Year’s Day to a bigger, better and brighter 2017 — I’m keeping hope alive.

Although I haven’t been in the best of spirits all month, I can say that November movies have been ON POINT! I’ve unapologetically spent every weekend in the theater so far and there’s no stopping me. I’ve become a weekend theater bum, watching as many new movies as I can. It’s been worth it. My $10 have been very well spent, every time.
So, what did I watch? Well…
