I’m so in love with Quantico…But Who The Hell is the Terrorist?

QuanticoOk, actually, I’m in love with Priyanka Chopra. Can you say “Gorgeous”?!

If you haven’t heard, Quantico is a new show on ABC which premiered Sunday, September 27th. After reading several reviews online, one critic perfectly wrote that the show is very much like, “when Grey’s Anatomy meets Homeland”. Ha, my thoughts exactly.

To be specific, Quantico is about several new recruits to the FBI Academy who are looking for their chance to become field agents for the FBI. Chopra, known as Alex Parrish, is one of the FBI’s top recruits who also becomes the prime suspect in a terrorist attack happening 9 months later. The shows moves in between flashbacks to the past (when the recruits first start the academy) to Alex’s present (when Alex is considered a terrorist suspect) to unveil how the terrorist attack happened and who might be involved. The FBI thinks the terrorist is Alex, but she leads the audience to believe it’s someone else, primarily one of her fellow recruits.

It’s an interesting roller coaster ride as we learn new things about the recruited agents and the many secrets they’re hiding. It’s hard to tell who to trust, or even who to like. At this point, I’m rooting for Alex Parrish, who seems to be one of the good guys. She has her secrets, but my gut tells me she is one of the most honest people on the show. Granted, we learn the most about her over everyone else. Continue reading “I’m so in love with Quantico…But Who The Hell is the Terrorist?”

Gotham: Rise of the Villains

Whats up all my Riceballers, it’s Stewyp here and I bring to you Gotham Season 2 Rise of the Villains. Now I want to talk to you guys about last weeks episode which was amazing and honestly one of the best well put together episodes from Gotham in my opinion. For all of those who don’t know Gotham is a spin off show of when Bruce Wayne was a young kid before he became batman, now Last season had it’s quirks and many people did not like the first season because they felt it introduced too many villains even though batman(bruce wayne) is only about 13 in this show. The reason why I still am viewing this show was the season finale of last season. The season finale showed the rise and fall of the mob with Falcone and Maroni, and anyone who knows Batman knows the mob is very prevalent in this saga and comic book series, but the season finale also showed Penguins transition and how he became a villain and a top crime boss, and might I add he is one of my favorite characters and one of the best.

Eclipse to the Blood Moon: Heroes is ReBorn

Okay, So new venue, new look. Nice!

thumbs upA lot of things I have been itching to discuss but this one takes priority. So this past weekend, the planets were aligned. The world was able to witness something that  we will not be able to seen again for the next 18 year. A lunar eclipse!!! (Depending on what side of the world you are on) The Moon was eclipsed and gave sight to a beautiful seen straight out of a movie (or anime/ TV show). The Blood Moon.  redmoon

This could not have happened at a better time. The widely anticipated show, “Heroes Reborn” is finally on!!! The series premiered its first 2 episodes in its 2 hour special last Tuesday. For those who do not know, Heroes Reborn is the new addition/ season 5 to the hit TV series Heroes. Heroes went off air after the writer strike a couple years back. For the past 2 months I have been bingeing  through the seasons to catch up before Heroes Reborn premiered. AND I MADE IT!!!! So with that said, now that I am all caught up, lets talk about Heroes and Heroes Reborn. Continue reading “Eclipse to the Blood Moon: Heroes is ReBorn”

AGENTS Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Amazing Opening

Wow… Wow. Wow that is all I have to say about the season Premiere of season 3 of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.EL.D.” I was not expecting that, but to be honest I was expecting this to be a good season opener especially what happened at the end of season 2. For all of those who do not remember the end of season 2 here is a refresher, S.H.I.E.L.D. and Hydra are both on the verge of being dismantled, but Agent Coulson and his team are searching for Daisy aka Skye, who has joined with what we know now as Inhumans, the Inhumans want to contaminate part of the earth to create more mutated humans with  fish oil pill vitamins.  Now this is not successful, but the containers holding the mutated gene falls into the ocean leaving us to wonder what will happen next. But I think the craziest part of this season finale is what happened to Agent Simmons being swallowed up by this unusual artifact Shield has recently been searching for. This leaves everyone’s Jaw open saying how can you just end a season like that. I’ll just let this picture do the talking… Continue reading “AGENTS Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Amazing Opening”

“The Flash” Races Back to Tuesday Night *Spoiler Alert*

Tuesday, Oct. 6th can’t come fast enough! Next week the new season of The Flash airs on The CW, and I’m excited to see what this season has in store!

This past weekend I took some time to catch up on Season 1 and all I can say is, “Wow”. It brought back the same feelings I had after watching Arrow’s first season. DC Entertainment is really doing their thing in the TV space, especially since Marvel’s Superhero takeover in Hollywood overshadows their attempts at live-action films. Here’s hoping Suicide Squad and Batman vs. Superman make the cut.  (They’ll most likely have to meet the same caliber as the Nolan-Batman series, to be honest— and that’s gonna be tough.)

Similarly to Arrow, the best part about The Flash is the characters.  DC Entertainment knows how to put together a compelling cast, all with personality and individual character development. (sidebar: Is it just me, or do they all look fresh out of high school? The bar scenes just seem wrong!) They also have great chemistry on-screen, which makes them a fun-loving team. I couldn’t help but analyze some of them, making comparisons to their comic-book versions. Continue reading ““The Flash” Races Back to Tuesday Night *Spoiler Alert*”
